TARA in conjunction with the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) education department held a one day teachers' workshop on 19th May 2009. The objective of this workshop was to present the proposed education activities based on TARA's 'The Dawn of Imagination' exhibition hosted at the Nairobi museum and have teachers give their input, critique the concept and come up with proposals for truly interactive and child friendly activities.

A total of sixteen teachers from schools around Nairobi participated in this workshop and made very useful contributions. TARA and the NMK education department will incorporate these into the concept and consequently in the implementation of the activities.

These educational activities are part of the EPA funded project 'Animating the Rock Art exhibition at the Nairobi National Museum'.
