The EPA
director, Alain Godonou, visited TARA on 23 March,
2009. He was accompanied by two heritage colleagues
from Burkina Faso, Amidou Zagré and Parfait Bambara.
They were attending a meeting with at the National
Museums of Kenya, Nairobi Museum regarding the upcoming
'A for Africa' exhibition at the Nairobi Museum.
The guests toured the TARA offices and met with
the Chief Operations Officer, Program Manager and
Head of Communications Marketing and Outreach regarding
the EPA-funded project 'Animating the rock art exhibition
at the Nairobi Museum' and TARA'scommunity projects
in Kenya and Tanzania.Alain congratulated TARA staff
for all their efforts in conserving African rock
art heritage.
